Some of you probably follow me on FB so please forgive me if I am repeating myself :)
That's it, my sweet son's BarMitzva (triple package - ceremony in the western wall, party and groom's Sabbath) are over now, it was an adventure, emotional experience for me as a mother but all the same exciting and thrilling, not everyday my little baby turns 13 and now considered an adult! (a small one, but still an adult).
As you can guess I spent endless hours, days and weeks of planning but I enjoyed every minute! :)

Have you ever thought about taking your jewelry pictures inside a milk gallon? Tanya Roy Veit, an artist working with Dichroic Glass posted a very original idea for taking pictures - she said she tried everything she can think of to improve her pictures, taken thousands of them over the years and spent hundreds of dollars on photo domes, photo cubes, cloud domes. This tip came from a family friend - She is using a 2.99$ milk gallon as her "photo studio!"

are you collecting craft tools, materials, beads, boxes like i am? do you HAVE to buy the new cookie cutter on sale?

I guess the answer is yes :), we have to have it all! just can't resist the temptation of buying the new hottest tool/thing!

I read so many posts about messy studios, i am curious, is it the same with other craft fields? anyway, after putting everything in place (now i can't seem to remember where i put this/that), everything looks much better - canes in boxes (did you notice most of them in hummus boxes? i just love hummus), cookie cutters in shoe boxes and hummus boxes, tools in a cup with a cool organizer i got as a gift from Julie Picarello, hand cream is ready just in case, a memo board is hanged in place and don't forget the big red bookcases for all OTHER items - it's a pleasure getting in my studio and work now!

Scott Radke is working with some special materials, his figures are both scary and facinating, even though not polymer clay, he is working with apoxy clay or magic sculpt, these are two part clays that cure in an hour or so, very interesting....(see photo)
