Pete Goldlust

For several years, his work has explored a sculptural landscape where human urges (libidinous, predatory and monstrous) are acted out by half-recognizable, otherworldly surrogate creatures. The work reflects his interest in mutated, hybrid forms, and the disjunctive psychological states that they represent.

No Paint! No Molds! 100% Polymer Clay!

Mary Lamoray works with clay since 1991, all her pieces are made 100% polymer clay and she design portraits of animals, small photos and other scenes.
Each piece is first hand-molded to anatomical correctness with a single base color using various sculpting tools. Other colors are then painstakingly layered onto the base. The last step involves the detailing of the work in which Mary adds the finishing touches of hair, feathers, backgrounds, etc... The artwork is then baked in a regular toaster oven for approx. 20 minutes.
