Some of you probably follow me on FB so please forgive me if I am repeating myself :)
That's it, my sweet son's BarMitzva (triple package - ceremony in the western wall, party and groom's Sabbath) are over now, it was an adventure, emotional experience for me as a mother but all the same exciting and thrilling, not everyday my little baby turns 13 and now considered an adult! (a small one, but still an adult).
As you can guess I spent endless hours, days and weeks of planning but I enjoyed every minute! :)

Tanya Roy Veit, an artist working with Dichroic Glass posted a very original idea for taking pictures - she said she tried everything she can think of to improve her pictures, taken thousands of them over the years and spent hundreds of dollars on photo domes, photo cubes, cloud domes. This tip came from a family friend - She is using a 2.99$ milk gallon as her "photo studio!"

These earrings by PeachTreats made me take a 2nd look. At first, I couldn't find how to insert them into the ear, then I realized, that she makes earrings for both gauged ears and for regular pierced ears. if you aren’t sure what she means by “gauged ears”—that is when the earring hole is stretched. They are all made of polymer clay!

Here is a fun memory game project, originally not created with polymer clay but we can do the same with clay. Take identical coins (use the smallest exchange you have) and glue on it a pre-baked polymer clay design that matches in size and color or pattern - 2 of each. Now you have a wonderful memory game to play with the children!

Have you ever found yourself wandering around at stores and looking for items or tools that can suit your polymer clay art?

I do!

One day I was looking for something to help me create a thin but strong polymer clay bead so I thought – why not use some kind of net/mesh for extra strengthening and at the same time gives an elegant look. I looked for something delicate, thin, flexible, ovenproof and not expensive & I found the Mosquito mesh. Here (in Israel), almost every house cover it's windows with this net to protect against Mosquitoes.

My recent tutorial "Geometric Mosquito Necklace" is using the same mesh to create an innovative unique look of flat beads.
These flat beads can be made using all kinds of clays, colors, textures, powders, paints, skinner blends and any thing you can think of. Their beauty is in their uniqueness, The "mesh-clay" combination gives them a very elegant and stylish look.

"Mystifying Floral Brooch"

While i was playing with the mesh i came up with a design of a floral brooch with domed beads.
I didn't want to use the traditional curing way on light bulb so i used a different technique. These beads are half domed, half flat and can be easily placed on any flat base - as beads on string, on a bag or jacket.

The Mystifying Floral Brooch has a beautiful combination of mesh-beads, special bumpy dots, plus you will learn how to make half domed beads.

"The Wavy cuff - 3 versions"

Last tutorial offered are 3 cuffs versions which are a nice variation of both the floral brooch tutorial and the striped hollow bracelet tutorial - The Wavy cuffs tutorial is using domed hollow forms with millefiori to create this appealing design.

Half and half - New collection

My new holidays collection is charachterized by 50% millefiori and 50% color.

Do you ask what does that mean? well, i am simply enjoying my clay, colors and matarial and not using 100% millefiori as i used to :)

I find this collection so enjoyable, much more personal, and wishfull.

In Judaism, a berakhah or bracha is a blessing, usually recited at a specific moments during a ceremony or other activity. we love to bless friends and family in so many occasions - holidays, when you meet, when you visit someone's home for the first time, and more.

This is the reason why i chose to be more personal and give my buyers the chance to enjoy a blessing collection. who doesn't want to bless his beloved friends and family? i'm sure every one will.
