Polymeri Online 29.12.12 | Polymer clay mailbox, Academic millefiori project, Fun fridge magnets, Marcame in Sweden and Kemper cutter stamping

Polymer clay mailbox!
Carol Lessans created a beautiful outdoor mailbox covered in full by polymer clay tiles. What a project! I couldn't find any website of hers, but you can enjoy some of her creations on Facebook.

Karen's framed boxes
Karen's Christmas card background
Karen Woodhall is a student from Australia, completing an advanced diploma of visual arts, she became hooked on polymer clay about 6 months ago and decided to use it in her final body of work. She contacted me by email asking for an advice on a specific display she was thinking about and from there I learned about her project. Finally, she made a set of five clay sheets which were displayed in box frames and also used her recent project as a Christmas cards background. I am so happy for her to found polymer to enjoy and use as her final project. I am sure polymer artists will only benefit from such an academic exposure.
Karen does not have a website yet, I wish her the best of luck!

Polymer clay fish photo magnet
Vicky Wolf 's etsy store is full of polymer clay and crochet goodies, I loved her fish picture frame magnet! She enjoys polymer clay, crocheting, knitting, oil painting, ceramics, macrame, plaster crafts, dried flower arranging and probably needs more than 24 hours a day for all of these!
don't miss her reindeer magnet too!

Macrame how-to project
Being one of Kathy weaver's pinterest followers, I noticed a macrame knotting project she posted. Although in Sweedish, you can understand the steps by looking at the photos. Thank you Kathy!

Polymeri Online 13.12.12 | Christmas earrings, decorations, ornaments and jewelry, Skyscraper in ThePolymerArts Blog

Christmas is a minute away and the web is full of wonderful creations. It is only natural that the perfect material to create wonderful gifts, pins, jewelry and tree ornaments will be polymer clay!

Santa
APieceofLisa - Lisa J. Ammerman started her creations over 40 years ago when she was a child. After graduation, she discovered polymer clay and was immediately hooked, she started making jewelry pieces and a few Christmas ornaments, did a few craft shows with mixed results, but she knew she had to stick with it. The following year she started making miniature figurines and expanded her Christmas line to limited edition ornaments and slowly gathering her fans. Good luck Lisa!
Polymer Clay Earrings
HugsKissesMINI - Ada Kalomoiri is a polymer clay artist from Athens, Greece, this is her version of Christmas candy cane earrings with gingerbread! I love the a-symmetric design! She is specializing in miniature food for food "addicts" and jewelry lovers.
Antiqued Santa!

Carla is a full-time medical secretary, mom of 2 teenagers (oh my!) and self-taught polymer clay artist specializes in making little wearable works of art in her free time. Here is another version of Santa, antiqued but looks younger then ever...

Personalized Bears Decoration

Debi Allison personalized Christmas ornaments are SO CUTE! Take a look at this one - a Belly bear family of 5 in woody wagon carrying a tree - Deb is a known figure in the polymer clay world, both she and her cat (crazy Felix) are celebrities in her numerous YouTube videos, and according to her, her husband is also her helper. She is sharing some of her techniques in her videos, don't miss it!

The Yawning Dude Piggy Bank
Born in the U.S.S.R., after 17 years living in Israel Alexander Mergold moved to Canada in 2008.
He has been making dolls and marionettes for over 20 years.
Alexander works with polymer and air-dry clays to create one of a kind characters inspired by literature and theater and his own quirky view of the world - I was laughing just looking at this yawning dude piggy bank! oh my! this is hilarious! :)
In this piece he is using Free Form® AIR Lightweight Epoxy Putty.
Here is a tutorial by him -

Millefiori Fantasy
Feather cane

Penni Jo, Claylady43 is sharing with us a feather cane tutorial using the Stroppel cane as the center of the feather. The final result is so beautiful. Did you know that she is a grand mother to 25(!), and great grand mother to 6? :) She and her husband travel in their RV, attend craft shows and polymer clay guild meetings, teaching and selling while enjoying the country! Sounds great!
