Friday 13th.... ;) A new post is up so you're lucky!

Spring is getting closer and I am getting ready for two trips ahead - UK and USA.
Passover holiday is closing in and just before we're starting our preparations, here are some cool links for you to browse around -

polymer clay translucent liquid
hollow beads video tutorial
What does tights, tooth picks and liquid clay have in common?
Give up?
Hollow translucent liquid bead!
Sandra Ferreira has came up with this brilliant idea (new to me) where she is using pantyhose, soft potters clay of some kind, a toothpick, liquid clay which is applied in several layers and alcohol markers to paint the bead in colours. A heating gun is used to bake the liquid clay between layers. Then, all is soaked in water and the final result is a beautiful hollow bead!
So original!

nail art micro beads
in polymer clay
Belkomor has posted several works of hers using nail art acrylic/plastic micro beads. These beads somehow melt (?) or adhere to the clay and stay there after baking. I am not sure how they do not fall off, couldn't find any reference to this issue in the translation so if you know how she does that please let me know so I can sleep well at night :)

Here is a link to a bead tutorial using clay which can help with the understanding of the process, the link is forwarding us to ebay mentioning the beads are - "Color acrylic UV gel glitter powder beads".

complex millefiori canning by Amy
Amy Gebhardt posted a cool bear cane in her Instagram account made of several separate canes.
I love complicated canning!
Her Facebook page is mostly personal, but you can find a couple of photos of her polymer clay work in several posts.

extruded borders by Elena
Elena JC is from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She is another of my Instagram finds. She is using extruded canes to border her beads, wrapping them around her beads as a nice surrounding, then placing the beads in a nice manner to create an interesting design.

She is also selling her work at Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/shop/ElenaJCjewelry

Little lazies by leah
Last one for day is Little Lazies by Leah. She is the creator of cute monsters, little and lazy kind :) Leah was a full time cake decorator who very much enjoyed sculpting figurines out of gum-paste for the cakes she created. Her path changes when she created a monster for the top of her sister's birthday cake. Don't miss her monsters, they are adorable.
